Now I'm a father, and learning to be a great dad; I want to track my own skills and share my experiences. If I can be half of the father my Dad was, I'll be ok.
I like to tinker. I love engines and horsepower. I feel great pride when I can make something useful out of someone elses junk.
I'm a wierd mechanic - I prefer to not be overly greasy or dirty. Obviously it happens, but I clean up often (must be an absorbed trait from having a nurse for a mother). Due to this trait, I became a mechanical engineer and choose to design for a living. I stay cleaner that way. But the shop guys think that I am weird since I'm not afraid to pick up a wrench and pitch in.
One day, I hope Alex has the same opportunity and love for wrenching as I have.
